We live is such fortune. You think I mean the land of opportunity, but actually I mean, the dharma has finally arrived and taken hold here. Until recently, qualified teachers of Buddhism in the West have been few and far between. We’ve had to travel the world to find deep teachings in the subjects of “emptiness”, “karma” and “compassion”. It was almost the only thing couldn’t get here.

Today, thousands of people here in America are turning to Buddhism for an answer to why the happiness we have worked so hard for, never seems to last. Why there seems to be something missing in our lives, no matter how much success or material comfort we achieve.

Dharma Vision is taking a new look at this rich heritage. focusing initially on the Lam Rim teachings of Lama Tsongkhapa; The Graduated Path to Enlightenment. You’ll hear these sacred teachings from the world’s greatest Buddhist teachers, men and women, living in the world today. You’ll see personal interviews with Buddhist practitioners who will share their stories of practicing the dharma in this modern age. Practitioners, of really all types: celebrities, students, scientists, successful business people, artists, mothers, young and old alike.

The Dharma Vision series will illustrate how traditional teachings on renunciation, compassion and emptiness, can be applied to the most pressing issues we face in the world today. You’ll learn to solve the problems of today by using practical solutions provided by the Buddhist way of transforming problems into the path that leads to ultimate happiness, complete liberation.

“The way I found Buddhism was quite by accident. actually...”

“All I knew about Buddhism was that Buddhist were kind of peaceful monks and they meditated.”

“I remember, quite often holding this little Buddha, and saying I would like to know more about Buddhism.

“In my heart I was Buddhist. But I didn’t exercise, or didn’t know.. I just felt that I am Buddhist, I am not Christian.”

“I found a set of teachings that, for me, incorporate everything from understanding who you are, to what compassion is, what it really means to help others, what it really means to understand our suffering nature, how everything around us is suffering. And to understand how we can get out of suffering. What the Buddhist call the Four Noble Truths."
